The Memorial Garden provides a quiet sanctuary where we can enjoy the healing beauty of nature and recall the lives of First Parish members and our loved ones.  Located next to the Old Burying Ground behind the church, the garden's green plantings and the granite path engraved with names of loved ones convey the message that those who are gone from our physical presence are with us still in memory. 

A special service is held each fall to mark the installation and dedication of new memorial bricks. First Parish members or their survivors may request a memorial brick to honor the life of a loved one.  A recommended contribution supports the cost of the memorial and ongoing garden upkeep and maintenance.

A special team of dedicated gardeners maintains the garden and welcomes new members and summer helpers to water and weed the garden.
