Easter 2014 Special Events Communion Service For the past several years, we have displayed our communion silver on the Sunday of Patriots Day weekend and held a contemporary UU communion service after the regular Sunday morning worship. We do this as an affirmation of our history and to commemorate those who have died for the sake of liberty. In honour of patriots and the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, and in celebration of the Easter message of new life, there will be a communion service at 11:45 a.m. for those who…

Welcome to First Parish in Lexington!

It's great to have you here. First Parish is a Unitarian Universalist church, located on the Battle Green in Lexington, Massachusetts. Here's something we say together every Sunday to remind us of what we're all about:

Love is the doctrine of this church.
The quest for truth is its sacrament,
And service is its prayer.
This is our great covenant:
To dwell together in peace,
To seek the truth in love.
And to help one another,
To the end that all souls shall grow
Into harmony with the divine.

Our worship, the warmth of our community, our programs, our music, our focus on children and youth, and our work in the world make First Parish a very special place. We hope you'll come see us. Here's some good information for first time visitors.
