Here's What's Happening:

Sunday, March 7

10:30 a.m. - Worship Service, "Lent and Us: A UU Season of Repentance," with Rev. Arline Conan Sutherland. According to the Christian liturgical calendar we are now in Lent, the 40-day period of repentance in preparation for Easter. What can UUs learn from this practice? What is repentance? We'll reflect on how we as individuals and as a society might repent. Nursery care provided for infants and toddlers. Sunday school for preschool through Grade 8.

Sunday, March 14

10:30 a.m. - Worship Service, "Who Was Jesus of Nazareth Really?" with Rev. Arline Conan Sutherland. Every year as Easter approaches, I make the time to preach about Jesus, which pushes me to read the most recent papers and to ponder what it's all about. We will also take time during this service to honor members and friends who have created bequests in their wills or similarly provided for First Parish. Nursery care provided for infants and toddlers Sunday school for Preschool through Grade 8.

11:30 a.m. - Kickoff of drive to collect old cell phones and other small consumer electronics for recycling, sponsored by the first-and-third-Thursday covenant group. Learn more here.

12 noon - Informational meeting abotu the new First Parish Bequest Society, chartered by the Parish Board.
